When I first started walking Sam around the neighborhood, she was dubbed the "Rat Dog". At this point in her life, Sam lived with two cats. Dink and Tasha would stand their ground with her, for a while.
Sam takes to water like no other dog I've had. She will goes nuts with the sprinkler in the backyard. Here she is taking a break on the beach of the reservior.
As much as she likes water, bathes are not a happy event at our house. What is Sammie doing in the tub in this photo? Drinking from the faucet. She'll turn up her nose to the water in her dish, jump in the tub to wait for me to realize she's in there and turn on the water for her.
